About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer you will work together with the squad to roll out, maintain, and optimize new tooling for Thales engineers. The team mainly works with Linux and Windows-based technologies, focusing on process automation. This is done together with other squads to achieve progress collaboratively.
Within these activities, you will be responsible for:
Managing applications on Linux and Windows;
Automating existing and future processes with Ansible;
Creating and maintaining GitLab/Jenkins CI/CD pipelines used by the team;
Monitoring deployed applications and proactively solving issues;
Deploying and maintaining tools in close cooperation with Engineering Support teams in other Thales countries;
Actively introducing new technologies to benefit the team;
About You
We are looking for a new colleague with:
A technical (IT/Engineering) educational background;
A customer-oriented mindset and good communication skills;
Strong problem-solving ability and perseverance;
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
Relevant experience in managing, developing, and optimizing software tools for developers and/or engineers;
Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems;
Experience in deploying and managing engineering applications on Linux/Windows platforms;
Experience with automation using Ansible;
Experience with containers (Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes) is a plus;
Experience in collecting metrics (Prometheus) and monitoring dashboards (Grafana) is a plus;
