With a focus on advancing cutting-edge technology and delivering solutions to global challenges, we are currently seeking a Software Verification Engineer to join our Aerospace & Defense team. You’ll play a pivotal role in our client’s Radar Core Processing department, which develops software solutions for radar and optical sensors, among other things. This concerns real-time software for the radar processing systems in the sensor domain
What you’ll be doing as a Software Verification Engineer:
Software is a big part of the client’s team total engineering effort and provides a lot of extra functionality to the radar systems. The large Scale Scrum method is used in software development. Different teams develop software that is integrated and demonstrated in one product.
As a Software Verification Engineer, you are a member of one of our scrum teams and are primarily involved in testing and validating of software subproducts.
You get plenty of opportunities to develop in different directions. Depending on your passion and ambitions, there are several growth paths possible, for example towards software architecture or system testing.
What you need to be successful as a Software Verification Engineer:
- A degree in (Technical) informatics or electrical engineering is preferred
- Experience in software engineering or software integration in a real-time environment.
- Passion for technology and working on (among other things) radar processing solutions and complex algorithms
- Experience with C, C++, Linux, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven and Continuous Integration.
- An understanding of real-time software development, radar systems, and complex algorithm design.
- A creativity, open-mind, and excellent collaboration / communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
