For our client, Thales, we are looking for a Functional Electric Inspector with experience in testing electronic products.
About the team
Within Thales Netherlands, the Naval organization is responsible for the development, production and support of radar-, communication- and command & control systems for naval vessels. Within the Supply Chain of the Naval organization, the Final Assembly department is responsible for the supply of electronics for Thales Systems.
About your future job
As a Functional Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for testing, fault diagnosis and getting electronics products repaired. Your duties include preparing test procedures based on test specifications in consultation with the designer/system test engineer. In consultation with the designer you carry out modifications of existing test procedures. You also instruct the repair colleagues in taking corrective actions resulting from the performed tests. You are also responsible for reporting in the appropriate systems.
The work as a Functional Electrical Inspector interfaces with a very broad area within electrical engineering. Examples include:
- Power supplies
- Digital technique
- Analog technique
- Fiber optics
- High frequency (1-35GHz)
- High power
- High voltage

- You have a Mbo education in electronics and have experience and affinity with testing electronic products.
- You characterize yourself as a real team player, you are energetic, eager to learn, stress-resistant, and structured, with an eye for detail.
- In addition, you possess good fine motor skills. Knowledge of Basic/Lab view and RF is an advantage.
- You have a Dutch nationality.
