About the Role We are supporting an international client in the advanced engineering sector who is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer . This is a hands-on position where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality across the full production lifecycle. From inspections and testing to driving continuous improvement and supplier management, your expertise will directly contribute to the delivery of world-class technology. What You’ll Do Manage supplier quality, including audits, assessments, and ensuring materials meet required standards. Collaborate across engineering, production, and design teams to embed quality into development and manufacturing processes. Lead initiatives to enhance quality, reduce defects, and improve efficiency using Lean or Six Sigma tools. Conduct investigations into non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications at every stage of production. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality processes, systems, and inspection records. Collect and analyse data to track quality performance, providing clear reporting to stakeholders. Develop and deliver training for production teams on quality standards and inspection practices. Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of quality assurance protocols. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or similar. 4–6 years’ experience in quality engineering (aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing preferred). Solid understanding of ISO and AS9100 standards. Strong background in inspection, testing, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency with quality methodologies (FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, Six Sigma). Analytical and detail-oriented, with proven problem-solving skills. Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams. Proficient in quality management software and data analysis tools (e.G., Minitab, Excel). CAD familiarity is advantageous.
