What You’ll Do
- Support and execute corporate transactions, including customer contracts, supply chain contracts, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investments (including M&A).
- Negotiate and structure Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) with technical partners, aligning legal terms with business objectives while protecting the company’s intellectual property, commercial interests, and collaborative development goals.
- Assist with corporate governance, board matters, and shareholder relations across Dutch and international entities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documentation.
- Support corporate structuring, reorganizations, and international expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, finance, strategy, and external counsel on strategic projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and policy frameworks.
- Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience at a reputable international law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Strong experience in commercial law and corporate law.
- Solid foundation in Dutch law and international experience is a plus.
- In-house experience in an industrial startup, scale-up, or international environment is advantageous
- You see legal as a business accelerator. You are proactive, hands-on, and capable of managing the “Buy-side,” “Sell-side,” and “Corporate-side” simultaneously.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
- Commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance business objectives and legal risks.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
