Wat jij doet

Our dedicated teams are committed to delivering top-tier software solutions with an unwavering focus on quality. Each team comprises 7 to 9 individuals, with well-defined roles including scrum master, product owner, architect, tester, and developer. Assigned work packages span a timeframe of 6 to 12 months, empowering the team to take full ownership of planning, architecture, and overall quality assurance.
We prioritize the continual improvement of our developers, fostering an environment that enables them to unleash their best work. Collaboration is at the heart of our approach, as we understand that acquiring profound naval domain knowledge is a gradual process. In times of uncertainty, our teams maintain open communication with counterparts such as System Engineering and Operational Experts, drawing upon their real-life shipboard experience.

Our software predominantly relies on Java, supported by a cutting-edge development environment. As part of the team, you will engage with the following tools and techniques:

Java software development

Continuous Integration & Delivery

Jenkins, Nexus, Maven/Gradle, GIT, BitBucket

Unit Testing, Test Automation, Cucumber

We searching for a colleague whom:

Is passionate about wanting to contribute to a safe and secure society.

Has 4+ years’ work experience within a software engineering environment.

Loves complicated technology and is capable of rapidly mastering new domains and techniques.

Can communicate really well with colleagues, is creative, open, flexible, and has a learning mindset.

Is willing to assist others when needed.

Has graduated at Bachelor or Master level in the area of software engineering, information/computer science or similar with a talent for Java.

Preferably has Dutch, Australian, Belgium, Canadian, Danish, English, German, Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish or American nationality.
