We are currently recruiting on behalf of Thales Netherlands for an experienced Manager Endpoint & Collaboration Services (internally referred to as Chapter Lead). In this role, you will lead approximately 30 professionals responsible for end-user workplace environments (Windows/Linux endpoints) and collaboration tools (including MS Teams and Cisco Jabber).
About the Role
As Manager Endpoint & Collaboration Services, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of ~30 people across endpoint and collaboration domains
- HR activities including performance management, coaching, development, and strategic workforce planning
- Managing the operational (RUN) budget, including licenses, assets, and temporary staffing
- Defining a long-term vision for capabilities and resourcing within your team
- Partnering with Product Managers and Enterprise Architects to align team capacity with business needs
- Collaborating internationally with Global Chapters and Group IS/IT
- Participating in the IS/IT Leadership Team and driving improvement initiatives
You will bring structure, direction, and a critical mindset—challenging the status quo where needed and empowering your teams to grow and improve.
A typical day may include squad stand-ups, 1:1 check-ins with team members, contract/budget reviews with the IT controller, and strategic discussions with leadership. There’s also room for a good lunch walk or an informal coffee catch-up with colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong background in endpoint management, end-user support, or collaboration tooling
- Familiarity with agile principles and practices
- A servant leader with excellent people management skills
- Strong communicator and team motivator
- Fluent in English
