About the Team:
Thales’ Software Engineering department within the Naval Engineering unit is responsible for developing cutting-edge Combat and Information Management Systems for naval vessels. These systems are integrated with sensors and weapon systems and offer advanced solutions in information processing, management, user interaction and control. The software we help develop plays a critical role in missions ranging from anti-piracy to long-range missile defense.
As part of the Naval Applications Engineering department, the Fire Control Systems segment focuses on delivering high-performance solutions. We are now searching for a strong people leader to support, guide and empower one of these talented teams.
About the Role:
As Team Manager Software Engineering, you will lead a group of approximately 25 to 35 professionals, including junior, medior and senior software engineers, along with other relevant roles. The team operates using agile, scrum and SAFe methodologies to develop the next generation of Fire Control Systems.

You will be part of the management team of the Fire Control Systems segment and the broader Software Engineering discipline. Together with other team managers, you are jointly responsible for achieving departmental goals. You will also help shape and execute strategic plans and initiate process improvements.

- Hold a BSc or MSc degree
- Are fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
